Studio Windows Install
This document provides instructions to install Row64 Studio on Windows 10 or Windows 11.
Install Server
Row64 Studio relies on a connection to Row64 Server, so we recommend that you install Server before Studio. For guidance on installing Row64 Server, please review the Server documentation for your specific platform.
If you have not already installed Row64 Server, and you would like to follow our recommendation for the best experience, please refer to the following documentation to set up Row64 Server in VitualBox when using Windows:

Alternatively, if you want to prioritize performance speed, you can set up Row64 Server through WSL 2 when using Windows:

Download Installer
Download Row64 Studio V3.5 at:
https://app.row64.com/Downloads/
Run Installer
Row64 installs with a standard Windows installer.
Choosing an Install Location
By default, Row64 installs in the Program Files folder. If you are a standard (non-admin) user, you may need to change the install location.
Installing Outside of Program Files
Windows users that do not have admin privileges will not be able to install in the Program Files directory. You can install into any folder the user has permissions to install into.
If you’re not sure what folder to install in, you can create a Row64 user folder, if it doesn’t exist, at the following location:
C:\Users\USERNAME\Row64\
(Replace USERNAME with your own username).
Then, install at this new directory.
