Welcome to Row64 Version 3.5!

The Row64 platform is a hardware-accelerated computing stack that processes, streams, and visualizes massive, rapidly-changing datasets that enables users to observe changes as they happen. The Row64 platform is built to transcend the current limits of real-time performance by utilizing the power of GPU and CPU acceleration.

Row64 Components

The Row64 platform consists of interconnected components that collectively deliver the ground-breaking data processing and visualization experience. These components include: Studio, Dashboard Server, Streaming Server, Dashboard Clients, and RAMDB. The Row64 platform is a flexible client-server architecture, and can run on premises, in the cloud, and in virtual environments.

Studio

Row64 Studio provides powerful data modeling through the creation of next-generation dashboards. Studio is designed for speed and ease of use, and provides an intuitive interface that enables users of all levels to rapidly design sophisticated dashboards. Users can also drag and drop files into Studio for quick inputting.

Dashboard Server

Row64 Dashboard Server is a dashboard and compute server that delivers interactive, high-speed dashboards with detailed visualizations to many concurrent users. Dashboard Server features several optimizations that delivers real-time interactivity to the users, such as threading, hardware acceleration, and more. To find out more about the optimizations of the Row64 platform, you can read more at: Optimization Overview

Streaming Server

Row64 Streaming Server streams live, sub-millisecond data updates to dashboards and supports integrations with Kafka, DeltaStream, and low-level C++ APIs. For more information on the new features of Row64 Streaming, see the V3.5 Release Notes.

Dashboard Clients

Row64 Dashboard Clients is a browser-based application that can run on most browsers, and is also compatible with mobile devices.

RAMDB

RAMDB is a multi-threaded, GPU-optimized database that offers high speeds with low-latency processing. RAMDB is capable of handling structured and unstructured relational data.

Installing Row64

The Row64 platform is highly flexible and runs on a variety of operating systems. This Help site provides guidance on installing and configuring the Row64 components.

Setting up Row64 involves installing and configuring Row 64 Studio and Server. To get started, check out the Installation section of the V3.5 documentation for information on setting up the components, based on your preferred environment.

For testing and optimizing your hardware, please refer to the Optimization section of this documentation. We also offer specific recommendations for hardware to run Server, Studio, and clients on browsers, which we have thoroughly tested and verified.

Upgrading from Version 3.4 to 3.5

If you are currently running an older version of the Row64 platform and would like to upgrade to Version 3.5, carefully follow the instructions outlined in the Upgrade documentation, and navigate to the page for your applicable component and operating system.

Warning

Failure to properly back up data could result in data loss!
